Entertainment That Regulated & Secure

Online gaming is a legitimate and enjoyable form of entertainment when done responsibly. At cuci1, we take responsible gaming seriously — not merely to meet regulatory requirements, but because we genuinely care about the well-being of our members.

We understand that everyone has different limits when it comes to time, money, and emotions. That's why cuci1 provides a range of control tools you can use on your own to keep your gaming experience within a comfortable and controlled boundary.

Our core principles: Gaming should be enjoyed purely for entertainment — not as a way to solve financial problems, escape stress, or chase losses. If you find that gaming is beginning to affect your daily life, it is time to seek help.

Anyone Can Be Affected

Gambling problems do not discriminate by status, age, or background. It can happen to anyone who fails to set clear boundaries from the start. Studies show that approximately 1–3% of people who gamble experience serious problems at some point in their lives.

In Malaysia, awareness of gambling addiction remains low compared to other countries. Many people don't realise they have a problem until it starts affecting their finances, relationships, and work. cuci1 wants to ensure our community stays in good shape by providing the information and tools needed from the very start.

Most importantly — if you or someone you know may be facing a problem, do not wait. The earlier help is sought, the easier recovery becomes. cuci1 is always ready to assist with the resources and support you need.

Playing Smart — A Practical Guide

Here are some best practices we recommend to all cuci1 members to ensure a healthy and enjoyable gaming experience:

  • Set a budget before you play — Decide in advance how much you are willing to spend on entertainment. Treat it like buying a movie ticket or dining out — entertainment money that will not affect your daily needs.
  • Set a time limit — Do not play for too long in a single session. Take regular breaks, get up, drink some water, and rest for a moment. Use the time limit feature on cuci1 for automatic reminders.
  • Don't chase losses — This is one of the most dangerous traps in gambling. If you have reached your loss limit for the day, stop. Chasing losses almost always leads to even greater losses.
  • Don't play when you're stressed or upset — Emotional instability affects your judgment. Playing in a negative emotional state can lead to irrational wagering.
  • Don't borrow money to gamble — Borrowed money, credit cards, or funds intended for basic necessities should never be used for gambling under any circumstances.
  • Don't hide your gaming habits — If you feel the need to hide how much time or money you are spending on gambling from loved ones, that is a serious warning sign.
Remember: No strategy or system can guarantee wins in gambling. All games carry a house edge. Play for entertainment, not as a source of income.

Sign Warning Warning Signs to Watch For

Recognising the early signs of a gambling problem is the most important first step. Review the following checklist honestly with yourself.

Early Warning Signs

Thinking about gambling all the time — Constantly planning the next gaming session or thinking about how to obtain money to gamble.

Increasing wager amounts — Needing to bet with larger amounts to get the same level of excitement as before.

Feeling restless when trying to stop — Feeling uncomfortable, irritable, or restless when trying to cut down or stop gambling.

Using gambling as an escape — Gambling to escape problems or to relieve feelings of guilt, anxiety, depression, or helplessness.

Chasing losses — Returning to play the next day to try to win back money that was lost.

Signs of Serious Problems

Lying to loved ones — Concealing gambling activity, the amount of money spent, or accumulated debts from family and friends.

Borrowing or stealing money — Borrowing money from family or friends, or using credit cards; in extreme cases, stealing to fund gambling.

Neglecting responsibilities — Gambling begins to affect work, family relationships, education, or other daily responsibilities.

Recurring financial problems — Constantly running short of money for basic necessities such as rent, bills, or food because funds have been spent on gambling.

An overwhelming urge that cannot be resisted — Unable to resist the urge to gamble even when aware of the negative consequences.

If you identify two or more of the signs above in yourself, we encourage you to use cuci1's self-exclusion tool immediately or reach out to a professional support organisation. This is not a weakness — it's a bold and smart step.

Protection Features Built-In

Cuci1 offers a range of control tools that you can activate yourself directly from your account. All features are free and available whenever you need them.

Daily / Weekly Deposit Limit

Set the maximum deposit amount you can add in a day or week. This limit takes effect immediately and can only be reduced right away — increases require a 7-day waiting period for added protection.

Session Play Time Limit

Choose how long you want to play in a single session. The cuci1 system will display a pop-up alert when your time limit is almost reached, and automatically log you out when the limit is hit — ensuring you get adequate rest.

Loss Limit

Set the maximum loss limit you are willing to accept per day, week, or month. Once this limit is reached, your account will be automatically blocked from placing any wagers for the specified period.

Temporary Self-Exclusion

If you need a break from the platform, use the temporary self-exclusion feature to block your account for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. During this period, you will not be able to log in or make any transactions.

Permanent Self-Exclusion

For those who need a long-term solution, the permanent self-exclusion feature lets you close your account for good. This decision is final and cannot be reversed — designed to support those who are serious about recovery.

Monthly Activity Report

Get a detailed monthly summary of your gaming activity, including total deposits, wagering, wins, and losses. Having a clear picture of your playing habits is key to staying in control.

Questions About Responsible Gaming

Answers to the most frequently asked questions from cuci1 members about responsible gaming.

Log in to your cuci1 account, go to Account Settings, and select "Deposit Limit". You can set a daily, weekly, or monthly limit. Lower limits take effect immediately, while higher limits require a 7-day waiting period as an added safeguard.

Once self-exclusion is activated, your account will be blocked immediately from all wagering activity. For a temporary exclusion, your account will be automatically restored once the period expires. For permanent exclusion, the account is closed for good. In both cases, any remaining balance in your account can be claimed through the standard withdrawal process.

For temporary self-exclusion, there is a mandatory waiting period before the account can be reactivated — this ensures your decision is made with a clear mind and not on impulse. Permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed under any circumstances. This is a deliberately designed protection feature for members who are serious about recovery.

Absolutely not. cuci1 enforces a strict policy that this platform is for users aged 18 and above only. Our KYC (Know Your Customer) process requires rigorous age verification through official identification documents. Any account found to be registered by an underage individual will be closed immediately and all funds returned.

Yes, completely. All communications related to responsible gaming are fully confidential. The cuci1 support team is trained in strict confidentiality protocols.
